Alarmingo ("we", "us", "our") is a language learning alarm application developed by Resolova Software. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users and handling personal data in a transparent, lawful and responsible manner.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you download, install or use Alarmingo, how that information is used, with whom it may be shared, and the controls available to you.

We collect the minimum amount of data needed to operate our services. This may include:

• Alarm & Learning Preferences — your alarm settings, selected learning language, word categories and difficulty level. Stored locally on your device.
• Progress Data — daily streak count, game scores and learning history used to personalise your experience.
• Tournament Data — participation records, scores and leaderboard rankings for active tournament seasons.
• Subscription & Purchase Data — your subscription status (active / expired / free) managed via your device's app store. We do not store payment card details.
• Technical Data — device type, operating system version and app version, collected anonymously to ensure compatibility and stability.

Data collected is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• To operate and personalise your alarm and language learning experience
• To calculate and display tournament rankings and progress
• To verify your subscription status and unlock premium features
• To ensure app stability and improve performance
• To develop new features based on aggregated, anonymised usage patterns
• To respond to support requests and enquiries

Alarmingo integrates with the following trusted third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected:

• Account & learning data — retained while your account is active and for up to 12 months after your last use.
• Tournament records — retained for the duration of the relevant season plus 6 months for dispute resolution.
• Technical / diagnostic data — retained in aggregated, anonymised form for up to 12 months.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. See Section 9 for details.

We take the security of your data seriously and implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. These include:

• Encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL)
• Secure server infrastructure with access controls
• Regular security reviews and updates
• Minimal data collection principles

Please note that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Alarmingo is designed for users of all ages. The app does not contain any content inappropriate for children and does not knowingly collect more information from younger users than from adults.

We recommend that children under the age of 13 use the app with the involvement of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data without appropriate consent, please contact us and we will take steps to remove that information.
